I've eaten at many restaurants. Some good, some not-so-good, and others I'm trying to forget! During a day trip to Fayetteville, I visited a place that makes my mouth water just by typing its name. I will definitely return as soon as possible!
Fayetteville Pie Company completely caught me by surprise. My family knows I can inhale a good chicken pot pie any time of year and that's honestly what I expected here. (Well... after I realized I wasn't headed to a desserts-only establishment.). The simple ingredients they are able to combine and turn into a work of perfection is nothing short of impressive! A glance at the daily menu will further prove my point.
I can't go on without mentioning the decor. What an entrance! I especially appreciated being in line to order upon entry. No wandering around and bumping into customers already seated. After placing an order, choose a nearby table or head upstairs for a bit more privacy.
The food... the food... the food... SO GOOD! Johnny and I tried the White Chicken Chili and the Ropa Vieja savory pies. Remember to grab a dessert pie with your meal. They are equally delicious!
The owner, Leslie Pearson, was traveling during our visit but her staff members were amazingly kind and attentive. I enjoyed hearing a bit of the story behind Fayetteville Pie Company. It is built on a foundation of family-ties, precious memories, and passion for community. Doesn't get much better than that!
