We’ve made quite a few memories at Cedarock Park, We’ve hiked it, canoed there, & attended events. It’s the kind of place with pleasing scenery that makes you want to return.

After our visit to Lazy 5 Ranch & spending the night at Homewood Suites, we decided to stop by for a leisurely hike. It was a perfect summer family activity. There’s plenty of shade & walking trails offering protection from the sun. However, don’t forget to wear sunscreen & mosquito repellant.

Cedarock is a 500 acre nature park & historic farm. with animals to interact with. Unfortunately, during this particular visit, none of the animals were roaming the fields. I’m sure this is due to the pandemic. I specifically remember horses, sheep, & goats but there could have been more.

There’s much more to this park such as volleyball & basketball courts, two fishing ponds, six miles of equestrian trails, golf courses, kayaks/canoe rentals, gazebos & picnic shelters, a playground, camping, open fields for play, & a lovely waterfall over an old mill dam. If you love the outdoors, Cedarock Park is a great place for family time!

Have you visited this park? If so, what was your experience?
