Catching You Up

In my best southern drawl… Hey y'all.

Dropping in quickly to catch you up on all things Thriller Mom. Life happenings are trying to force me full speed ahead but I'm not interested in speedy energy right now. I'm craving focus, concentration, one-thing-at-a-time vibes.

There's so much to be done. Always. Therefore, the to-dos aren't going anywhere. I'd rather handle business & life's necessities in a stress-free manner.

I'm in an upgrading season where the old is being or has to be replaced. Some of it's fun. The rest is challenging. Either way, it's getting done to the best of my ability.

School is back in session as well. My girls had a great first day & shout out to everyone who reached out to check on them. Can I just talk about the amazing people who consistently show how much they care?! They take time out of their busy days to make sure the three of us are okay.

That means a hell of a lot to me.

When I reach the level of success I'm aiming for, I'm going to bless those people in a big way! Nothing along this journey is going unnoticed. I will remember.

We all have to do better with appreciating people while they're here to receive it. Let's stop waiting until funerals, etc., to say/show how much others mean to us. Okay?

2. Adventures

Okay… summer break wasn't as adventurous as we'd hoped & that's because of the weather. While I'm not fond of really high temps, I'll deal with them if it means a good time. My daughters on the other hand are not about that life! They'd rather stay home than be out with scorching heat & bugs.

I get it.

Fall will have to be the season of exploration but unfortunately, school takes up a lot of time & energy. All I can say is, “we'll see what happens.” On the flip side, however, I do have many fun things already on the list.

3. Blog updates

It's time to update things around here. I don't know if I'll have a new blog template altogether or new photos only. I'm still processing. So… if you stop by & things look drastically different, you know why.

In addition to keeping up here, I have a few lofty writing goals I'm aiming for. I'm really putting myself out there in new ways & I'm nervous. However, when you want something, you have to go for it right?

Well consider me gone with knees buckling along the way. My daughters are watching, depending on, & most importantly BELIEVE IN ME. I won't let up!

As new things come to fruition, I'll be back to share. Until then, hold your heads high & keep moving forward. I believe in you ALWAYS.
